SA Poetry Slam Heat 4 – guest performer Daydream Fever

Who is Daydream Fever?
“…one of the best unique sets I’ve seen in ages. Daydream Fever, essentially a one man band, opened with a cool electronic track that he mixed and produced on stage. Who knew one person could achieve so much?…when it is all said and done, the perfect moments occurred when Daydream Fever was able to involve an often forgotten collaborator…
the crowd.” – All Over Adelaide 03.07.17 headline show review @ The Jade

Adelaide artist, Kultar Ahluwalia gave birth to Daydream Fever in late 2016. Since then, DDF has already hit the ground running sharing the stage with the likes of Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Winston Surfshirt, Spit Syndicate and Adrian Eagle. DDF’s debut EP God Market resulted in a gang of community radio play and support slots and rounded out 2018 with a SA Music Awards Nomination for Most Popular Hip Hop Artist. Daydream Fever is essentially a one man band, an evolution in sound, effortlessly blending a wide range of genres from hip hop to punk to electronica to spoken word. A DDF live set takes the crowd on a rollercoaster ride, with double time raps, vocal loops, belted soulful vocals and impromptu freestyle jams. Ahluwalia is at the helm of all these sounds handling the production, the instrumentation, the songwriting and the vocals.
