Poetry and feminism have always gone hand in hand as a tool to empower women.

Join us in challenging ideas of the ‘weaker sex’ by examining some feminist poetry – then brainstorming some of your own.

All ages and genders welcome. Writing prompts and lollies provided.

Like all rules you can try and bend things or get ‘all clever’ to try and find interesting ways to present things we may not have thought of. But just be aware Spoken Word SA people will be on the spot to make binding calls
