A fantastic final for the 2023 Summer Slam last night at Jive: a great line-up, enthusiastic audience, and a very close call for the top two places!

Congratulations to winner, Yeeel, and runner-up Arantza Garcia. Big cheers to everyone who came, competed, judged, cheered, sponsored, and generally supported the Summer Slam this year!!

In addition to all the talented competitors for Summer Slam 2022, we’re lucky to welcome Tracey O’Callaghan to the stage as our feature performer!

Tracey O’Callaghan is a passionate, raw, feisty poet. She will take you on a journey, fire you up, and fill you to the brim with powerful words. Tracey made her spoken word debut in the South Australian state heats of the 2018 Australian Poetry Slam. Since then, it has been a crazy ride.
