Jon Brooks is a stand up comedian from Port Pirie – that explains it all, really. A journalist by trade, he’s written for TV shows including Rove Live and Legally Brown. He’s a regular guest on ABC radio, host of the Swear Jar Podcast and won best new artist at the Adelaide Fringe in 2011. Brooks will return to the Adelaide Fringe in 2020 with his 7th solo hour, Selfies From Chernobyl. Other shows of note include Sargasm, Beer and Loathing and The Evil Dad.

A great start to the 2019 SA Poetry Slam season last night at the State Library of South Australia with Caroline Reid coming out in front and Tracey O’Callaghan as runner up.
