What an incredible opening SA heat to the 2025 Australian Poetry Slam! 16 fabulous poets performed their work to a large appreciative audience. Scores were high throughout, but only the top two could advance to the SA State Final at Goodwood Theatre on 27th September. Congratulations to winner Jacqueline Collier and runner-up Aranzta Garcia.

Thank you to the poets, the audience and judges for making this a great night. Special thanks to the staff at Onkaparinga Libraries who have been supporting this event with enthusiasm and flair for 10 years now. They provide not only a fine venue, but refreshments and the prize money for the winner and runner-up!
