After three high quality heats, we were set for a fabulous final for the 2024 Summer Slam at Jive. We were not disappointed! The poets delivered, the large audience cheered them along, and the judges judged. Congratulations to winner Terry Anne, runner-up Mei Szetu, and third place River Hill, each of whom picked up prizes from our generous sponsors. Also thanks to Sacrifice Tracy McNally and Guest Performer Katherine Sortini for great performances either side of the competitors.
Big cheers to all the poets who took part in the 2024 Summer Slam, the supportive audiences, the prize donors, and the host venues: without any of these, there would not be an event.
