SA Heat 2 of the 2026 Australian Poetry Slam saw another high-quality set of performances from our poets in front of an enthusiastic and supportive audience at Parks Library. The scoring was extremely close, made more so by many of the poets going over time and losing valuable points… Congratulations to winner Lauren Ann and runner-up Conor Brown who will be off to the SA State Final at Goodwood Theatre and Studios in September.
Thank you to all our poets, judges, audience members, and SWSA crew. Special thanks to our guest, Courtney Jaye, for a stunning selection of thought-provoking work. Last, but by no means least,, thank you to the fabulous staff at Parks Library for their on-going support.
Heat 3 will be at Campbelltown Library on Saturday 15th August, doors opening for sign-up at 6:30pm.
