We paused. Took a moment. A world-wide “…Ummm”. Now, the slam storm returns.
In 2023, flex your vocal chords with a new voice. Run with new leaders. Turn your moments of “…um” into MomentUm. Write new poetic revolutions. You’ve got two minutes on the mic. Build your MomentUm to crescendo and be heard.
Poetry Slams and wordshops are popping up around the nation. From June to October, 1000 writers will grab their moment in the spotlight leading to one National Final at Sydney Opera House and a prize worth $20,000, including publishing opportunities and gigs from Byron to Bali and beyond.

Two poets chosen by the audience at each of our five South Australian heats will head to the SA Final. At the final, our winner and runner-up will be off to Nationals!

All heats open for sign-up at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start. Tickets for each heat $10 at trybooking.com or at the door.
