We are excited to announce the dates and locations for the SA Heats of the 2024 Australian Poetry Slam. More details will be available soon. But in the meantime, start getting your best work ready to perform on stage!

Remember the key rules: you only have 2 minutes for one original poem with no props. It must be new work that you have not previously performed in a heat or final of the SA Poetry Slam. Full rules for 2024 also will be available soon.

It’s Finals Time!! SA State Final for the 2023 Australian Poetry Slam

On Saturday September 30th, ten of South Australia’s finest performance poets will take it up a notch. The heats were hot, and the final will be fire! The audience at Goodwood Theatre will be treated to another round of fast-paced poetic prowess, with new poems from all of our finalists.
