SA Heat 2 of the 2024 Australian Poetry Slam served up another powerhouse set of poetry performances at the Port Adelaide Library! Congratulations to winner Susan Brame and runner-up Zoe Koulakis who both will be heading off to the State Final at Goodwood Theatre on 21st September.
Special thanks to guest poet Cayley Ferguson, the audience and especially the friendly and helpful staff of Port Adelaide Library, who now have added poetry slam judging to their impressive list of credentials!
As always, the scores in the heat were close. So take your chances and come along to the next heat at Jive on Thursday 15th August.
