You don’t want to miss out on this chance to explore short form poetry at these FREE workshops, delivered as part of Kathryn Reese’s poetry residency at Adelaide City Libraries!
Your world in one breath. Join local poet Kathryn Reese for these generative poetry workshops. Kathryn will introduce short forms such as haiku, cherita, the one-line poem, prose poem and micro-fiction. Kathryn will provide writing time for you to create your own. We’ll discuss variations and building short works into longer pieces. Kathryn will also provide a list of some journals and lit mags open to submissions of short form writing. Then we’ll have an optional “micro-open-mic” to share the smallest poems!
Sessions are suitable for poets of all levels including the poetry curious!
