What a phenomenal night of poetry we had last night! Heat Two of our 2024 Summer Slam saw sixteen talented competitors, a completely full house of poetry fans, and a beautiful selection of treats from Sarah’s Sister’s Sustainable Cafe.
A tie between first and second place gave us a SLAM OFF… which resulted in a second bout of tied scores! With a handshake and the true spirit of poetry at play, our two highest scorers agreed to share equal first position. Congratulations to our next three confirmed finalists:
