Guest performer for Heat 2: Grace Colsey
Grace Colsey (they/them) is a proudly queer and neurodivergent theatre-maker, singer-songwriter, and professional instrument of chaos – although unfortunately they have yet to find any job listings under that particular vocation. They take an express interest (dare I say special interest) in neurodivergent issues, and the unique challenges faced by their generation. They recently won the Frank Ford Award for their debut cabaret, Smiling Through the Human, in the Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival, about chaotic, weird and un-wonderful existence. Their work typically features an erratic combination of quirky and soulful original song, existential comedy, and spoken word, and they find a huge joy in connecting with audiences and bringing explorative art to life.
