RulesTwo poets chosen by the audience at each of our five South Australian heats will head to the SA Final. The winner and runner-up of the SA Final will be off to Nationals in Sydney!

Guest poet for Heat 1: Shaine Melrose
Shaine Melrose is a queer emerging poet and retired gardener, living and working on Kaurna country, in the Adelaide hills. Whilst challenged with disabling chronic illness, Shaine likes to perform and grow things, especially vegetables and hang out in the garden. Nature is solace. Shaine is an award winning internationally published writer, poet and spoken word performer.
