Base 10 Youth Centre : 10 Main South Rd, Reynella
If you are 26 or under please join us in this brand new initiative aimed at sharpening the skills of both developing and brand new young artists. The mentors for each of the sessions and the exact locations will be announced soon.
Spoken Word SA will specifically target aspiring young performance poets with a sequence of workshops led by experienced spoken word artists. Under the mentors’ guidance participants will develop skills in writing, editing and performing their work and be encouraged to create new work that can be developed, critiqued and rehearsed in the workshop environment. The Rumble SA will then offer participants and the wider arts community as a whole an opportunity to showcase their work at a series of poetry slam performance events.
