Sarah Jean: August Poet-in-Residence @ Adelaide City Library: Final Session, Saturday 27th, 2-4pm

sarah jean

In collaboration with Spoken Word SA and Adelaide City Library, Sarah Jean presents The Words I Wish They’d Heard – a magic mixing pot of stories and secrets she thinks the world needs to hear.

Do you have a letter you wished you’d written? A text you should have sent? A sing you dreamed of singing? A message you wish you could have heard? A story you want to tell? Here’s your chance …

Come join in, tell your story, whisper the words or shout them loud (metaphorically… it is a library after all!) and tell the world (well, Adelaide at least) what you need it to hear. We cannot wait to hear your stories!

The Words I Wish They’d Heard will engage you in a process of writing letters. The culmination of these workshops will be a ‘spoken word’ style show similar to the Women Of Letters movement. If you’d like to be involved in the final performance, please contact Sarah Jean at the Library or via email.

Sarah Jean’s final performance is this Saturday, 27th August, 2 – 4 pm. Click here for more details of the event.
