Emelia Haskey, Winner of the South Australian Poetry Slam 2019, performing at the State Final, Goodwood Theatre, Goodwood, 27th September 2019. Emelia is off to Sydney to compete in the Australian Poetry Slam national final at the Opera House.

Last chance! SA Poetry Slam Heat 5 – guest performer Jon Brooks

Jon Brooks is a stand up comedian from Port Pirie – that explains it all, really. A journalist by trade, he’s written for TV shows including Rove Live and Legally Brown. He’s a regular guest on ABC radio, host of the Swear Jar Podcast and won best new artist at the Adelaide Fringe in 2011. Brooks will return to the Adelaide Fringe in 2020 with his 7th solo hour, Selfies From Chernobyl. Other shows of note include Sargasm, Beer and Loathing and The Evil Dad.
